Mini-Soccer (4 years – 7 years)

Footy for Tots Mini-Soccer is the next step for our budding football stars. Designed for children in Reception & Year 1 (ages 4–7), our sessions focus on building confidence, creativity, and technical skills. Every child is encouraged to feel comfortable with the ball, take risks, and develop their own style of play.

Who Are Mini-Soccer Sessions For?

  • Children in Reception (4–5 years old)

  • Children in Year 1 (5–7 years old)

These sessions are the perfect progression from our toddler football programme, giving children the chance to learn more advanced skills while enjoying the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Session Times & Location

Our Mini-Soccer sessions run on Saturday mornings at Elizabeth Harvie Field, Bearsted (Maidstone):

  • Reception: 9:15am – 10:15am

  • Year 1: 10:30am – 11:30am

All sessions are led by FA-qualified, CRC-checked coaches.

Our Mini-Soccer programme runs in partnership with Roseacre Raiders FC, an FA Charter Standard Club in Maidstone. This unique link gives players a clear pathway from our soccer school into grassroots football, joining a team at U7s to play in local leagues.

When you join our Junior Raiders programme, your child gets the full experience of being part of a local grassroots football club, with support for both players and parents. Once players reach Year 1, Footy for Tots and Roseacre Raiders help recruit and train a parent to become the team’s manager — with full support and all FA courses paid for by the club.
