Footy 3s is delivered in partnership with Roseacre Raiders FC, providing Reception and Year 1 children with a structured football development programme and a clear pathway into the club at U7.
Children can join us in Reception, continue developing throughout Year 1 and then have the opportunity to progress together into Roseacre Raiders FC.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions follow the Footy 3s coaching programme and are designed specifically for Reception and Year 1 players.
Our coaches create an environment where children are encouraged to have the ball at their feet, be brave in possession and make their own decisions.
Players will regularly experience:
• Ball mastery and individual technical work
• Dribbling and 1v1 situations
• Turning and changing direction
• Passing and receiving
• Shooting and finishing
• Attacking and defending
• Decision-making
• Lots of small-sided 3v3 football
The emphasis is on developing the individual player rather than focusing on results or positions at an early age.
THE ROSEACRE RAIDERS FC PATHWAY
One of the biggest benefits of joining Footy 3s at Roseacre Raiders FC is knowing where your child's football journey can take them next.
Throughout Reception and Year 1, players develop within the Footy 3s programme.
As the Year 1 group approaches U7, Footy for Tots and Roseacre Raiders work together to prepare the children for their transition into grassroots team football.
Our aim is for children who have spent time training and developing together to have the opportunity to continue their journey together as Roseacre Raiders FC players.
FORMING THE U7 TEAM
As part of the transition into Roseacre Raiders FC, we also work with parents to identify anyone interested in becoming involved with the future team.
This could include becoming a team manager, coach or helping support the team in another capacity.
Suitable parent volunteers can be supported through the relevant FA qualifications and requirements needed to become involved in grassroots football.
This allows the team structure to begin taking shape before the children officially move into U7 football.
JOINING ROSEACRE RAIDERS FC AT U7
As players approach the end of Year 1, parents will be given all the information needed for the transition into Roseacre Raiders FC.
This will include details around:
• Team registration
• Training arrangements
• Matchdays
• Club membership and fees
• Kit
• Team management
• FA requirements
• The move from Footy 3s into the club
Footy for Tots and Roseacre Raiders FC will work together throughout the process to make the transition as straightforward as possible for players and parents.
FEES & BOOKING
New players can attend a FREE trial session before signing up.
Following your child's free trial, membership is £30 per month.
Payments are collected by monthly Direct Debit from September through to July.
The monthly payment covers your child's place in the Footy 3s programme throughout the season, with sessions running during school term time.
All registrations and payments are managed directly through Footy for Tots.

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED?
Once your child has signed up to Footy 3s at Roseacre Raiders FC, they will need the official Junior Raiders kit.
Kit cost: £20
The kit can be purchased directly from us at your child's session after signing up.
Players should also bring:
• Football boots suitable for the playing surface
• Shin pads
• A drink
• Suitable additional clothing for the weather
